Description

Play with clay while learning about the oldest dragon kiln and Singapore pre-war! Take a trip down Singapore in the past and how it may have looked like by doing a KlayKit® session through a virtual tour of the dragon kiln based on the book called The House on Palmer Road. The virtual tour would encompass referring to significant events from the book such as frog hunting, escaping fierce guard geese and visiting a ‘coolie room’, as well as crafting based on these exciting adventures in pre-war colonial Singapore, all using clay!

Clay as a medium makes one present and engaged in the moment, which is critical to the process of learning. The digital session will expose children to multiple concepts, while the clay products created will serve as trigger points for participants to remember what they learned.
