Description

Listen to three young singer-songwriters from LASALLE College of the Arts as they perform pop songs adapted from the poems of Felix Cheong, with the guidance of their lecturer Belinda Foo. To add to the challenge, the musicians will then be given unseen poems, randomly chosen by the audience, to turn into music—within 60 seconds!

Turning Poetry into Song promises to be a fun event that debunks the myth that poetry is “difficult”. Discover how poetry and song lyrics aren’t that different, and stand a chance to win #BuySingLit vouchers you can use to purchase books on the spot.
