作家书房，既是作家阅读的实体空间，也是他（她）们思考与创作的心灵空间。配合由本地四大语文的书业同行共同发起，国家艺术理事会支持的 BuySingLit（购买新加坡文学作品）运动，城市书房将於 2020 年主办“作家书房”，邀请新华作家李青松丶流蘇丶周昊丶梁海彬丶张承尧和文学团体所谓诗社，尝试以不同的视角，透过文学讲座丶口述诗表演丶座谈等，在咖啡香袅绕的书房里展开 SingLit 之旅，引领读者见识作家（们）的私房书，探访他/她（们）的阅读世界或剧场与阅读的互动关系，以及如何影响他/她（们）的思考与创作。由此，读者可体验文学带来的快乐和启迪。

Writers’ Book Room is a physical space for writers to read, and also a mindful space for them to contemplate and create. A series of literary talks, spoken word performances and forums will be conducted by local Chinese writers Li Qingsong, Liu Su, Zhou Hao, Neo Hai Bin and the literary collective Matter.Less.

城市书房，创立于 2014 年 12 月 9 日，坚信纸本书是人类不可或缺的精神粮食，致力推广以本地文学、历史、社会评论等为主的各类著作，期许为岛国新加坡的书业注入新的活力，为读者引荐更多有质量的人文读物。

City Book Room was established on 9 December 2014. This Singapore-based independent publisher has been set up with a belief that books are important foods for the human mind. They sell locally published Chinese and English books on literature and culture, picture books, and books on Southeast Asian research. City Book Room frequently organises events including book launches, book readings, literary lectures and workshops. They are particularly keen on encouraging young literary talents, to spread knowledge as well as sustaining the development of local culture.
