Description

The experience of reading transports us to alternate universes, making us crave environments beyond the familiar. But in densely urban Singapore, it can be hard to immerse ourselves in nature, or to imagine a world beyond concrete buildings. Enter a place where what you imagine from reading is complemented by a sensory engagement with the textures, scents, and visual aesthetics of the environment around you. Walk down a trail of Singapore literary texts that touch upon nature, and emerge from the floral installation with a different perspective of Singapore as a place brimming with life in the arts and in nature. A collaboration between Arts In Your Neighbourhood and INA.SHEA.

About the Organiser

INA.SHEA is a creative floral studio that seeks to utilise floral and botanical elements as creative anchors to bring a natural, complementary and cohesive ambience to everyday life and occasions. They are motivated by explorations into modern curations of nature, pushing the boundaries of design aesthetics in their experimental use of textures and palettes. They are recognised for their conceptually distinct works, collaborating with many notable names for floral installations and arrangements.
